GS USB Firmware
CANmeleon GS USB firmware connects to EcuBus-Pro through WinUSB on Windows and to SocketCAN through the kernel gs_usb driver on Linux. These two paths use the same firmware without switching firmware modes.
The four-channel implementation provides classic CAN, CAN FD, hardware timestamps, software-controlled termination and Identify channel indication. Available channels and termination controls depend on the hardware and applicable firmware package.

Getting started
On Windows, check WinUSB enumeration, select the GS_USB (CANDLE) backend in EcuBus-Pro and bind the detected channels. Configure both ends with matching bit rates and frame settings. This path does not use the PCAN driver or a serial SLCAN connection.
On Linux, use a kernel with four-channel gs_usb support. Confirm the actual CAN interface names and driver binding before configuring them. The Chinese guide includes classic CAN at 500 kbit/s, CAN FD at 500 kbit/s / 2 Mbit/s, paired-channel transmission, termination settings, Identify and interface shutdown. Both physical nodes must be connected and correctly terminated; local echo alone is not proof of reception at the peer.
