CANmeleon Ecosystem

CANmeleon is a general-purpose firmware platform for supported USB-CAN and CAN FD devices. CANmeleon device manager installs, updates, and switches firmware so that supported hardware can be used with PCAN, Kvaser, Vector, ETAS, or ZLG software workflows. SysMax maintains the firmware scope and usage notes on this site. For the hardware platform itself, see the Kunhong CANmeleon platform documentation.

Install and update firmware

Use the CANmeleon device manager guide to obtain, install, and update firmware. The linked platform guide is currently maintained in Chinese by Kunhong.

Hardware

See Hardware and Firmware Support to find the firmware listed for each device model. Kunhong maintains the linked hardware pages; SysMax maintains the firmware pages and workflow guides.

Actual availability is determined by the device model, its current authorization state, and the firmware package shown in CANmeleon device manager. If firmware is marked Not applicable, use the result shown for that device rather than this summary.

Feedback

To request other firmware or report a firmware performance or interoperability issue, open an issue in the SysMax CANmeleon issue tracker. Include the device model, firmware version, driver, operating system, third-party software version, tested functions, limitations, and test date.
